The original image is from a Joy Division bootleg tape, a fairly famous image of the band taken from behind in a tunnel. This was pretty much an immediate idea (I have often thought about the horrors Ian had to live through), but it was a long way to get there. The final artwork in A4 took about 8-10 layers of work in the end, much on ordinary printer paper with quite a lot of filling/retouching made with pens. This was finished sometime during the se ond half of 2024.
