Harry Clarke is one of my favourite historical illustration artists and you might recognise his imagery, especially from early-to-mid-20th-century editions of Edgar Allan Poe and onwards. This is a print of a hand cut collage, using scans of various images from vintage books as well as some abstract cut outs. Some pieces are favourites of mine and appear in more than one collage… swallows, skulls etc.
